Iv been away a while so haven't updated this bad boy for a while.

Drawings coming soon.

I have had a massive few weeks concerning illustration work etc some bad, some good...some just take forever. I will endeavor to get all the good news on here as soon as it has been finalised.

New projects/activities are drawing everyday (daily project). I have had some big critiques recently and this is one of them so im going to pull my finger out. Juggling a full time job with illustration is hard but big push in the right direction.

Good day all,

special.

Graham belongs to Handsome Frank Agency in London. After graduation in 2008 he won a place at the DandAD New Blood Awards in the
same year. Graham’s work recently featured in the Creative Review's
Illustration Annual

There is no guest list or any fee to get in on the launch night (24th July @ 19:00).

and also this month i had an old image of mine used for the noise festival music event Manchester. Not my normal cup of tea, but as i said its a really old image. It's all exposure i guess.

ok so i have a drawing in the current issue of the creative reviews very first Illustration Annual.

Entries were invited in the following categories: Personal (self initiated or experimental work, which has either not been commissioned or published before); Design (illustrations that have been commissioned by design studios); Editorial (work commissioned by newspapers, magazines etc); and Advertising. As with the Photography Annual, we appointed one judge per category - we find that a single, knowledgeable judge works better than a committee in this context.

Our judges were Angus Hyland, a partner at Pentagram; Stephen Petch, art director of The Independent Saturday magazine; and Paul Cohen of McCann-Erickson and co-founder of Draft magazine. All were asked to select their favourite work as well as their choices for our Best in Book section...

writers come this way

I am an illustrator interested in creating a children's short story, however, I do not have any real talent in creative writing. therefore, I require the aid of a writer. If any writer is at all interested in collaborating to create a children's short story please contact me at;

bethanbaker_3@hotmail.com

If the short story is good enough then i am willing to pay for the content. this would be in the region of 10-15 pounds.

I am quite open to all ideas or stories at the moment but i would like something similar to a contemporary fairy story or possibly something that would educate children.

Regards,

bethan
